The summer of 2017 there will be one MBK sponsored CDF Freedom School in the Wheatley, the Kashmere and the Scarborough feeder patterns. A total of 150 children, in grades K-12th, will be served at each site.

School Champion

MBK schools are primarily located in neighborhoods that are economically disadvantaged. Many times additional supports that would ordinarily be brought to the school by a better resourced Parent Teacher Organization are not available in these schools. A school champion fills a vital role in providing additional support to a school to be needs for students that might otherwise been met by families with more resources or by a supportive organization like a PTO.
